EXCELLENT

this is an excellent book to start with during your surgical rotation. it gives very important basic surgical concepts that you must know. it covers orthopedics,urology and cardiothoracic surgery in a beautiful to-the-point way. you can go through it very fast. it also has very high-yield pictures that you must see during your rotation, however, as usual, the surgery department in my medical school gave us a really hard-time in the final MCQs exam and it had alot of questions that were identical to those in surgical recall. so in the end, i think i should have studied surgical recall more. :(
